Following their highly successful international collaborations, Melbourne based performer Jessi Lewis will once again team with Lismore’s award winning artist Ana Wojak in a new work to be staged in Brisbane’s New Globe Theatre.

The pair will present ‘Crossfade’, a collaborative exploration into dress ups, gender, transgression, the roles we assume and those which are thrust upon us. In a contemporary world obsessed with appearances and the superficial, it works with costume as a stimulus from which layered vocabularies of movement and image emerge, to be presented in a narrative of rich episodic tableaux.

Promising something hot, delicious, and subversively glamorous, Crossfade highlights the commonality between these uniquely different artists, creating a through line that assumes a deeper connection which ultimately binds this performance.

Crossfade will be staged Thursday 24 March at the New Globe Theatre, 122 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley. Tickets are available online at $15 pre-sale/$18 on the door.
