Car manufacturer Holden has unveiled a rainbow ute to celebrate getting on board as a sponsor at this weekend’s Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade.

“We’re coming out… As an official sponsor of this year’s Mardi Gras!” the company wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday that’s been viewed more than 122,000 times.

“Why? Because Australians are changing and evolving, and so are we. So it’s time to show our support for the causes that we believe in.

“As a starting point, in 2016 we pledged our support for Australian Marriage Equality, and are now proud to sponsor this year’s Mardi Gras.”
