The HIV Foundation Queensland has this week opened nominations for three board positions that will be vacated in November of this year, with applications closing 24 August.
The eight members of the Foundation’s board are responsible for addressing and coordinating the response to HIV in Queensland, while providing governance and oversight of all Foundation activities.
On average, board members meet every two months and are remunerated for time spent at Foundation meetings as well as for costs associated with travel and accommodation required for board meetings.
Board members can be appointed for up to five years, though the normal terms of appointment are between one and four years.
Full information about the details of the role, eligibility requirements, remuneration, and selection process can be found on the HIV Foundation Queensland website www.hivfoundation.org.au
