Hayley Williams, Kim Petras and Slayyyter are coming to Aus for Laneway

Laneway Festival

Laneway Festival has dropped its 2027 lineup, led by Fontaines D.C. and Hayley Williams alongside Slayyyter, ADÉLA, Kim Petras, Jane Remover and more.

What started as a little street party in a Melbourne laneway has grown into a summer ritual across Australia and New Zealand.

Back for its 22nd year, Laneway Festival continues to champion emerging and established local and international artists.

And we couldn’t be more excited about the 2027 lineup.

This lineup is stacked

For the first time in four years, Dublin band Fontaines D.C. return to Laneway.

They’ll play an extended headline set featuring new music from their forthcoming fifth album, Dopamine Chamber.

Lead vocalist of Paramore Hayley Williams brings The Hayley Williams Show to the festival in her first Australian festival appearances as a solo artist.

Her Laneway appearances come alongside previously announced, sold-out, intimate headline shows at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and Melbourne’s Forum Theatre.

Slayyyter returns to our shores and rising pop star ADÉLA will make her Laneway debut. The stacked lineup also includes Kim Petras, MUNA and Rachel Chinouriri.

After appearing as a DJ in the 2025 Festival, Australian producer Ninajirachi returns to headline the Everything Ecstatic Stage.

Special headline shows for Adelaide and Perth

The 2027 festival kicks off at Sydney’s Centennial Park before heading to Brisbane Showgrounds, then Melbourne, before wrapping up in Auckland in February.

Adelaide and Perth were dropped from the 2027 touring schedule for 2027.

Alongside the Laneway lineup announcement, Handsome Tours and Laneway Presents announced that FONTAINES D.C., Jane Remover and Tiffany Day will perform headline shows in those states.

You can find out more about that here.

Laneway always brings a mix of exciting new and established artists from around the globe

The festival has become a launchpad for some of the biggest names in music, while continuing to signpost what’s next.

Despite Laneway’s continuing growth, Laneway co-founder Danny Rogers told Rolling Stone AU/NZ that the festival’s focus continues to be finding artists before they leap to bigger stages.

“I’m still more interested in finding who the next Charli is, who the next Fontaines D.C. is, you know,” Rogers said.

“I’d rather the festival be in a position where it can move culture, not just be a follower.”
