Pop star turned actor Harry Styles is reportedly filming steamy gay sex scenes in his upcoming movie role in the queer drama My Policeman.

Harry plays gay police officer Tom who has to hide his homosexuality in 1950s England in the new film, based on a novel.

His character Tom will have sex onscreen with forbidden lover Patrick, played by actor David Dawson, during the film.

“Harry will be having sex on screen and they want it to look as real as possible,” an insider told The Sun.

The thirsty source said the two actors will share two sex scenes between Harry and David and another where Harry will be “naked on his own.”

“Not much is going to be left to the imagination,” they said.

“Harry is throwing himself into this new role and is really excited about the challenge, even though it’s a daunting task.

“He always wants to do things that people wouldn’t expect and challenge what people think about him. This film will really do that.”

The Crown’s Emma Corrin starring opposite Harry Styles

The film, My Policeman, is based on a 2012 queer novel by Bethan Roberts.

Set in 1950s Brighton, England, the story follows teacher Marion who falls in love with a policeman called Tom.

Tom, however, develops feelings for a museum curator named Patrick, who opens his eyes to a sophisticated new world.

Due to the social constraints of the era, he decides that it is safer for him to marry Marion, and the two lovers are forced to share him until one of them breaks.

The movie begins in the 1990s, when an elderly Patrick arrives at Marion and Tom’s home, triggering flashbacks to 40 years earlier.

Actress Emma Corrin, who won a Golden Globe playing Princess Diana in Netflix’s The Crown, will play the younger Marion in My Policeman.

Earlier this month, Corrin came out as queer in an Instagram post. The 25-year-old called herself a “queer bride” in the caption of a bridal photoshoot.
