Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has said he “religiously watches” drag competition show RuPaul’s Drag Race.
“I came to it quite late, but I watched every single series in a very short period of time and was completely taken by it,” he told The Guardian.
“I didn’t know what the drag world was all about so it was really educational.
“It’s an artform I think a lot of people should know about and appreciate, because it’s really impressive.”
Grint also named the show’s transgressive season four winner Sharon Needles (pictured, right) as his favourite Drag Race queen.
“I like it when they have to make their own outfits, and I love Sharon Needles, she’s my favorite,” he said.
“It’s really good TV, and I’m constantly trying to get people to watch it. I’ve actually managed to get my dad to watch it.”
Earlier this month, the show’s US network VH1 revealed the lineup for the upcoming third series of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars.
Morgan McMichaels, Shangela, Milk, BenDeLaCreme, Trixie Mattel, Kennedy Davenport, Thorgy Thor, Chi Chi DeVayne and Aja will all return.
The series is set to premiere in early 2018.
