Hannah Gadsby has announced she married in January and has introduced the world to her new wife, Jenney Shamash.
On Thursday, the comedian posted an extremely cute photo to her social media accounts of the two of them eating ice cream at a café.
“I’d like to introduce all y’all to Jenney,” Hannah wrote.
“She’s a producer extraordinaire. She’s funny and very talented at reciting facts. It is a joy to behold.
“We got married in January and we are very chuffed about it.
“For the record: this is me gushing. I am full of very positive feelings. This is a nice story.
“My heartfelt thanks to everybody who voted for marriage equality.”

Jenney Shamash produced Hannah Gadsby Netflix special
Hannah Gadsby became a global star after Netflix filmed and released her subversive stand-up show Nanette in 2018.
The Tasmanian-born comedian then released her follow-up Douglas, named after her beloved pet dog, on Netflix in May 2020.
Jenney Shamash was one of the producers of Douglas. She, alongside Gadsby, was nominated for an Emmy for producing the special in 2020.
In 2016, Hannah Gadsby was a vocal critic of the same-sex marriage debate. She spoke out about the harm the prolonged debate was inflicting on young queer Australians.
