Hacks TV show Stan Australia

It’s great news for fans of Hacks and Jean Smart, the hit show is back for season two on Stan Australia.

And it’s just around the corner.

Stan Australia made the announcement earlier this week.

Jean Smart returns to Hacks

Hacks was easily one of the runaway hits of 2021.

This sharp and clever comedy featuring Jean Smart took off and was embraced worldwide last year.

In its first year, the show was nominated for a whopping thirteen Emmy Awards.

The program eventually went on to win three of these.

Jean Smart won the Emmy for Lead Actress in a comedy for her role as Deborah Vance.

Meanwhile, the show itself won awards for best writing and best directing in a comedy series.

The on-screen chemistry between Jean Smart as Deborah Vance and Hannah Einbinder as Ava was the perfect recipe for success.

Biting and witty, supported by a fabulous ensemble cast, Hacks was destined to soar.

Now Hacks returns to Stan Australia on May 13th 2022.

Season two is almost here

If season one of Hacks is anything to go by, season two is going to be unmissable.

Season two will pick up right where season one left off.

Taking place immediately after the season one finale our two protagonists are travelling the country.

Together they are embarking on their road trip to workshop content or Deborah’s new stand-up act.

Season two of Hacks will feature just eight episodes.

Returning for season two are favourites such as Christopher McDonald, Kaitlin Olson and Poppy Liu.

The new season will also feature some new faces with the inclusion of Laurie Metcalf (Lady Bird), Martha Kelly (Euphoria), Ming-Na Wen (The Book of Boba Fett) and Devon Sawa.
