Queensland Katter Australia Party Senator Fraser Anning has left people baffled by a vile homophobic and transphobic rant he delivered in the Senate.
Anning caused nationwide outrage in August when he delivered his maiden speech calling for a “final solution” to “the immigration problem” and calling gender diversity “garbage”.
But the Senator is at it again, standing up in the Senate on Tuesday and unleashing an offensive speech calling the Safe Schools program “child abuse”, transgender people “deluded” and gender diversity “blatantly false”.
“Fifty years ago, if a communist pervert had proposed that our nation’s children be forced to listen to sexually deviant propaganda, they would probably have been strung up,” he said.
“Today, this disgusting garbage is called the Safe Schools program, and its leading exponents hold comfortable government funded positions.”
He went on to say, “In critical theory, ethnic and religious minorities, radical feminists, sexual deviants, Third World immigrants and antisocial criminals could take the place of the proletariat to create a post-communist revolution, deconstructing traditional values and the white family.
And later continued, “The ridiculous lie that gender is variable or fluid would be laughable if its intent were not so sinister.”
After his time in the Senate was up, Anning went on to post more on Twitter, writing, “The real goal of the Safe Schools Commo perverts is absolutely nothing to do with safety in schools or compassion. Safe schools is a dangerous and degenerate program.”
Numerous people responded to the Katter Australia Party Senator on Twitter, baffled by the speech and correcting his “ranting gibberish”.
“Seriously, has someone broken Fraser Anning? The bot appears to be malfunctioning badly and spewing forth random information from IPA pamphlets,” one person asked.
“Understanding and accepting that LGBTI people exist is not sexual deviancy or perversion,” another said.
“I’m proud to have been one of the federal steering members of that program. It stopped kids suiciding. Grow up,” another summed up.

Understanding and accepting that LGBTI people exist is not sexual deviancy or perversion.
The #SafeSchools programme is primarily a teacher’s resource that assists teachers to provide support to LGBTI students.
It is a voluntary program with optional classroom activities.

🙋♂️ hello, person with actual experience with Safe Schools here. Got my school to sign up. Offers teacher training, some student programs and classroom materials. All very helpful for us queer kids. And to the straight white man asking if it’s really needed: yes. Just yes.

More ranting gibberish from Fraser “The Final Solution” Anning. Hard to believe this person is a Federal MP. https://t.co/O0A1IbX2ZJ

Oh really, @fraser_anning? Child abuse? I suppose that the being belted to a pulp element of my schooling was just people being friendly, under your reasoning? 🤔
I’m proud to have been one of the federal steering members of that program. It stopped kids suiciding. Grow up. https://t.co/dn1eRWrsJq

You’re just an offensive relic from the distant past. You obviously have no knowledge of education. You might appeal to a few dimwits but your time as a Senator will soon be done.

The best thing about Anning is he is an inspiration to the young, competent, bold, future leaders of Australia, who may be nervous about entering politics.
Have confidence in yourself kids, if the bar is this fucking low, you have nothing to lose by trying. 🤗#auspol
