Expressions of Interest Now Open for 2025 Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival

2025 Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival

The Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival is thrilled to announce that Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are now open for participation in the 2025 festival, scheduled for August 22–24.

Following the overwhelming success of the 2024 event, which saw two of its three days sold out, the festival is set to be bigger, better, and more delicious than ever.

The festival is seeking EOIs from producers, culinary demonstrators, distillers, breweries, wineries, food trucks, market stalls, entertainers, media partners, corporate partners, and volunteers. This approach showcases the rich tapestry of talent and products that contribute to the vibrant food and wine culture of Moreton Bay and southeast Queensland.

Festival CEO Shane Newcombe emphasised the importance of curating a high-quality lineup for the 2025 event and noted the creation of a new role, Director of Experience Development, to ensure the festival delivers on patrons’ expectations.

“The Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival has become a cornerstone event of Queensland, attracting over 30,000 patrons and achieving a digital reach of 10 million. Due to the overwhelming demand from vendors, musicians, businesses, and others keen to be involved, we are implementing an EOI process to ensure we select top-quality applicants who align with our vision for the festival. This approach allows us to connect our festival offerings with what our patrons want to see more of.”

In 2025, the festival will introduce a tailored approach for vendors, producers, and exhibitors, integrating them into the festival through menu items, masterclasses, unique events, and tastings. These elements will be expertly curated by the new Director of Experience Development, Tomara Spreadborough, to ensure attendees can taste, experience, and learn about as many products as possible.

Attendees will engage their senses through tastings, demonstrations, and expert talks, creating an up-close-and-personal opportunity to learn and indulge in the festival’s culinary delights.

The 2024 festival also proved to be a valuable platform for businesses, offering an ideal venue for marketing, team events, and client gatherings. Mr. Newcombe highlighted the benefits for corporate participants:

“The Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival offers a fantastic opportunity for businesses to connect with an engaged audience, enhance brand visibility, and foster positive brand associations within the vibrant atmosphere of the festival. Whether you’re looking to promote a new product, position your business as a thought leader, or establish your brand as a supporter of local events, our sponsorship packages are designed to offer maximum impact.”

The festival team works closely with businesses to create bespoke sponsorship packages tailored to individual branding and marketing objectives. From exclusive VIP Bungalows to custom events, corporate hospitality options provide companies with unique opportunities to entertain and reward staff, clients, and stakeholders while building memorable connections.
