Actor Christin Byrdsong has revealed himself as the Euphoria actor who filmed a rimming scene with Eric Dane on the latest episode of the wild HBO drama.
The second season of Euphoria started airing earlier this month.
And in the first five minutes of this week’s episode, Nate’s strict father, Cal, is seen mid-anilingus with a mystery bottom.
Cal is played by former Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane (above right). Euphoria fans immediately began discussing the steamy scene online.
Dane’s co-star, Christian Byrdsong (above left), weighed in, taking to Twitter to declare “it was me” and said taking part in the show was “a dream come true”.
The actor said he’s a big fan of Dane’s and explained how the scene was filmed.
“Truly a gem of a man. So professional and chill,” he said.
“I talked to him about [his 2003 role on] Charmed cause I was obsessed as a kid. Still am actually. Lol He’s just a really good guy.
“The dream was to work on this amazing show, with the incredible director, and multitalented actors.
“And I got to film fake sex scene with a childhood crush/actor inspiration!”

Actor explains how sex scene was filmed
Christian Byrdsong also explained exactly how the moment was filmed for the Euphoria episode.
He explained the two actors worked with an intimacy coordinator and used a special piece of equipment.
“The actual filming was incredibly professional. Totally fake,” he tweeted.
“A piece was built by the intimacy coach to go between his face and my butt.
“Super chill & professional. Been a fan of Eric since I was nine. Acting since three. Truly a milestone for me. We are coached and safe.”
He recalled that as he got into position for the scene the crew “asked if I was comfortable. I said ‘dreams really do come true’. The set burst into laughter.
“That’s the hashtag… I filmed on an incredible show with an incredible director and an actor I admire and I got paid. That’s the dream.”

Euphoria actor clarifies full frontal scene was not a prosthetic
Euphoria‘s second season is streaming in Australia on Binge, with new episodes every Monday.
Last week, actor Ansel Pierce caused a stir online after flashing his penis in the season two premiere.
The actor later explained he didn’t use a prosthetic for the full frontal scene.
Last August, out Australian actor Murray Bartlett discussed why he and a co-star wanted a rimming scene in another HBO drama, The White Lotus.
