The Australian premiere date for Rupauls Drag Race UK has officially been announced.

It’s been about 3 seconds since Rupauls Drag Race All Stars 6 finished.

So naturally, it’s time for the announcement of the next instalment, Drag Race UK.

Streaming service Stan made the announcement today.

“The first two seasons of RuPauls Drag Race UK have been a tremendous success for the BBC. That adoration has been echoed by Australian fans watching the series on Stan, falling in love with the glitz and glamour of the queens of England.”

Joining Rupaul and Michelle Visage will be Graham Norton and Alan Carr who have been a hit with the show so far.

Of course, there will be the usual array of guest judges.

A post on Instagram on the official Drag Race UK account, today confirmed some extra special guest judges.

Joining the program will be Spice Girl Emma Bunton, singer Alesha Dixon and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Drag Race UK set to make herstory

Earlier this month it was revealed that Drag Race UK would be making herstory.

After announcing the cast of the third season, it was revealed one contestant would be a world first.

Victoria Scone was revealed as the first cisgender woman to compete in the franchise.

Also joining Victoria Scone is Ella Vaday, Scarlett Harlett, Choriza May, Elektra Fence, Krystal Versace, Charity Kase, River Medway, Kitty Scott-Claus, Vanity Milan, and Anubis.

And last but not least is returning drag queen Veronica Green.

Last season, Veronica couldn’t return to the show after a lockdown hiatus because she had contracted COVID-19.
