Drag Race star Raven launches new show, Painted with Raven

Raven Drag Race Painted with Raven

Former Drag Race contestant Raven is set to launch a new program.

The two-time Runner up has debuted the trailer for her new program on WOW+ this week.

Painted With Raven, it’s no Drag Race

There’s certainly no shortage of interest in former Drag Race contestants taking on new projects.

With a host of new programs featuring queens like Manila Luzon, Peppermint, Crystal, Shangela, Eureka, and Bob The Drag Queen, Raven is up next.

Painted with Raven is something different.

Whilst shows like Drag Race requires contestants to fly to the studios for weeks of filming this one is done from home.

The newly released trailer describes it as “The first makeup competition series where you can win big and never leave your home.”

The program is set to find the next makeup artist sensation with the winner taking home $25,000.

Makeup is certainly what Raven has come to be known for and she’s definitely excited.

“I’m so happy to be hosting something I absolutely love to celebrate…a reality competition about FIERCE MAKEUP!” She said in a statement.

Raven is no stranger to the spotlight

After placing second on Drag Race season two and All-Stars one her star has continued to rise.

During season nine Raven was appointed Rupauls personal makeup artist.

Since then she has continued to pop up everywhere.

After appearing in all seasons of Drag Race UK Raven was even spotted down under.

It’s no surprise, Raven was awarded the Emmy for Oustanding Makeup in 2020.

She also quietly became a creative producer on Drag Race since season ten and All-Stars since season three.

Meanwhile, RuPaul will serve as executive producer for Painted with Raven.

It will definitely be interesting to see how this turns out!

Painted with Raven is set to debut on WOW+ on November 25th.
