With 2021 drawing to a close the unstoppable star has made a string of new announcements.

With three albums, multiple singles and tours under her belt her latest announcement is another feather in her Drag Race cap.

New music, tour and book for Alaska Thunderfuck

After appearing on Drag Race Alaska Thunderfuck has become a brand known across the world.

Tongue in cheek, catchy comedy tunes have become her signature product.

From her first album Anus to the iconic Poundcake Alaska Thunderfuck makes her fans sit up, listen and laugh.

Not content with sitting back and watching the world pass by, Alaska is ready to take on 2022 with a bang.

In preparation, she has dropped the first single, Red, from her forthcoming album. Red For Filth.

Much in the way 2016’s Poundcake referenced her season five appearance, so does this album title.

In Season five Red For Filth was the name of the fragrance Alaska created to market in episode eight.

At first listen it’s a change for Alaska.

Whilst , Anus, Poundcake and Vagina were more self-referential comedy, Red is a celebration of music.

“Red is the color of blood, and the heart, and the color of love.” She says of her new single and album.

“This song and this album are dedicated to the time when I first fell in love with music — around the turning of the century. We’re drawing upon the sounds and textures of the 90s and early 2000s, with pop songs that are about love and friendship. I love the music and I can’t wait to share it with you all.”

My Name’s Yours, What’s Alaska?: A Memoir

Not content with filling our brains with music, Alaska Thunderfuck has also dropped a book.

We all knew she could read, but girl, we didn’t know she could write too.

My Name’s Yours, What’s Alaska?: A Memoir is the title, of course.

In typical Alaska fashion, we can expect to laugh out loud whilst enjoying an exceptional amount of spilt tea.

Her memoir will chronicle her childhood through to her rise to fame. And of course, her time on Drag Race.

Does she plan to tell you everything? Of course, she does.

“People have often asked me. ‘Alaska– if you were to ever write a book, what would it be about?’ The answer is simple. It would be about me, of course.”

“In this book I plan to tell the T, the whole T, and nothing but the T— so help me Goddess.”

“In telling my life story, from my birth until now, I hope to invite you into my world, to set the record straight, and to inspire the children of the world. Because if a poor skinny queer boy from Erie, Pennsylvania can grow up to be an extra-terrestrial starlet of stage and screen, then truly anus-thing is possible.”

On top of this Alaska will drop her first headline North American tour, which for Aussies is sadly out of reach.

But fear not! You can catch Alaska’s latest single below, onYoutube, Spotify & Itunes.

My Name’s Yours, What’s Alaska?: A Memoir will be available for purchase later this year.

Red For Filth is due for release in early 2022.
