Alan Carr Drag Race Judge Divorce

Judge of Drag Race UK Alan Carr has announced his separation from his husband.

After thirteen years together the pair have decided to part ways.

Alan Carr and Paul Drayton have been married for three years.

‘Sometimes the hardest decisions are the right ones’

Drag Race judge Alan Carr and his husband made the announcement via a spokesperson this week.

A publicist for the couple said that they had  “jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce.”

They later took to Instagram to make the announcement.

Alan Carr and Paul Drayton were married in California in 2018.

Most notably their ceremony was officiated by a good friend of Alan, British singer Adele.

The couple had been together for thirteen years.

“This was not an easy step to take, but I know it is the right one going forward.”

Taking to Instagram Paul Drayton addressed some of his own issues surrounding the separation.

“As part of my own journey, I proactively checked myself into a rehabilitation facility at the turn of the new year in order to get the help and support I need during this challenging time.”

The announcement follows a previous drink driving charge for the husband of the Drag Race judge who has struggled with alcoholism.
“This was not an easy step to take, but I know it is the right one going forward.”

“These last couple of years have been challenging to say the least, as they have been for so many others. But I remain deeply committed to my journey of sobriety and strength.”
