It’s another day and another season of Drag Race is on the way, this time we’re heading to Belgium for Drag Race Belgique.
This season marks yet another iteration of the international franchise.
At this point now, we’re just losing track.
Drag Race Belgique
It seems every week we’re being treated to a new season of Rupaul’s Drag Race.
Recently it was announced that Nicky Doll would be hosting the french version of the program.
Meanwhile the second international All Stars version of Canada Vs The World is apparently on the way.
Now the Belgium version has officially been announced as Drag Race Belgiue.
Belgium joins the ranks of Thailand, Holland, Spain, the UK, Down Under and many more.
Where will RuPaul land the franchise next?
Bianca Del Rio weighs in on Drag Race ‘saturation’
With so many iterations of Drag Race many have been quick to complain about there being a little too much of the show.
In a recent interview Bianca Del Rio, the queen of opinions, weighed in on the debate.
Talking about the rise in under talented drag queens of late she had a few things to say.
“I think it’s definitely oversaturated.”
“Everywhere you go, drag queens are falling out of trees” she says.
“Everybody thinks they’re a drag queen. Everybody thinks they’re a wig designer. Everybody thinks they’re an amazing lip-sync artist.”
But for Bianca it is more about standing the test of time in a world saturated by the program.
“So, there’s good and bad with all of it. But as we all know, the way the world works, trends come and go.”
“So it’ll be interesting to see who is the fittest, who will last the longest, who will be still around, if there’s still an interest for them.”
