CWC Cabaret: It’s entertainment with dragitude!

CWC CABARET

Brisbane’s longest running fundraiser for people living with HIV/AIDS, the CWC Cabaret is back 21 March at Imaginations nightclub in Spring Hill.

Hosted by Mother Nature, the evening will dish up a delicious array of drag identities from all venues. Punters can also expect performances by some of Queensland’s best-loved performers from years gone by. Shows will be held at 8, 9, 10 & 11 pm with all performers donating their services for charity.

Despite the entertainment predominately centred on drag, CWC’s long history includes all types of interesting and quirky acts. When it comes to CWC cabarets, expect the unexpected!

The first CWC cabaret happened all the way back in 1989 to assist people living with HIV/AIDS. The event enjoys a reputation as one of those events that attracts both venue regulars and those not involved in ‘the scene’. It provides a great opportunity to mingle, catch up with old friends and make new ones.

The CWC Cabaret occurs 7:00 pm-midnight, Saturday 21 March at Imaginations nightclub (the old Options), Spring Hill. Entry is $10 at the door with proceeds going to Queensland Positive People.
