Australia’s drag sweetheart Courtney Act will be immortalized in wax at Madame Tussauds.
The announcement marks both the 40th birthday of Courtney Act and the start of Mardi Gras.
This also marks the end of another successful year for the performer.
Courtney Act at Madame Tussauds
Since the first walked onto our screens on Australian Idol, Courtney Act has taken over the world.
After returning to Australian shores Courtney Act has continued to shine.
After appearing on Dancing with the Stars she will return to the show as an All-Star this year.
She’s even gone on to host her own show on ABC and will appear in this year’s Mardi Gras coverage.
Not content with just TV, she’s even released her own book.
So what next? Madame Tussauds.
The honour is being bestowed both to celebrate her 40th birthday and the opening of Mardi Gras.
A life-size wax replica will be created mirroring every detail of the star from head to toe using 3D scanning.
And of course she will be dressed in style.
Replica Courtney will be wearing her 2020 Mardi Gras rainbow Swarovski-covered Marco Marco dress.
The outfit will of course be paired with glitter Louboutins, all donated by Courtney.
