Eurovision 2014 champion Conchita Wurst is coming to Australia ahead of the release of her debut album.
The bearded Austrian singer, who slayed the competition at last year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Denmark, will also perform at the 2015 TV Week Logie Awards on  May 3.

“I am beyond excited, because I haven’t been to Australia before and I am sure I am going to love it,” Conchita said.

The glamorous drag queen will be promoting her first album, titled Conchita, and the singer says it covers all the musical bases, “from dramatic ballads to dance tracks.”

“This album is very close to my heart because this is my first solo album and therefore this is extremely thrilling and exciting,” Conchita said.

“I am delighted that the album has become so colourful and multifaceted. All my favourite musical genres have found their way onto the album.

“I dedicate this album to my fans who supported me throughout this entire last year and I hope they like it just as much as I do.”

The new album will contain her soaring James Bond-esque Eurovision winner “Rise Like A Phoenix,” as well as follow-up single “Heroes” and current single “You Are Unstoppable”, that Conchita says deals with the fight against discrimination.

Conchita will be released  May 15.
