Entries for Bootco’s Mr Queensland Leather and Queensland Leather Boy competitions are closing soon.
Bootco, Brisbane’s long-running men’s leather club, is preparing for August’s Brisbane Leather Pride Festival, the month-long celebration of the kink community.
Their next event, Tom’s Bar, is on August 6 and that night the first round of Mr Queensland Leather will be held, as well as the heats for the Queensland Leather Boy competition.
This year’s contestants will strut their stuff onstage from 9pm. Entries for both competitions close on July 28, and forms are available from BootCo.com.au. Winners for both competitions will be announced at Bootco’s Corium dance party on August 27.
At the Tom’s Bar event, DJ Esteban Deluxe will be on the decks while the BootCo dungeon will be active under the care of an experienced Dungeon Master. Those interested in BDSM activities can watch or experience in a safe, inclusive environment.
Boot Youth will be meeting in the dungeon space from 8-9pm and it’s open to all young men aged from 18-early 30s who are interested in exploring kink and fetish. Your $5.00 entry fee includes entry into BootCo. Cloakroom facilities will available on the night with all funds raised donated to the community.
On August 27, Bootco will hold the annual Corium dance party at Brisbane’s Club 29. Attendees can dance the night away with the help of DJ Fradge and DJ Saeni Boi, play in the upstairs area, visit the pop-up dungeon for something a bit kinkier, watch several stage shows or just socialise with friends in the garden area.
BootCo’s Tom’s Bar event starts at 8pm on Saturday, August 6, downstairs at the Sportsman Hotel in Nellie’s Bunker. Tickets are now on sale for Bootco’s Corium dance party on August 27. For comepetition entry forms and more information visit the Bootco website or join the Bootco Facebook group.
