The much-anticipated Trans Pride Picnic, originally set to close out Trans Month, has been rescheduled to Saturday, December 7 due to inclement weather.
This free community event will now extend the celebrations of Trans Month, offering an inclusive space for transgender, gender diverse, non-binary people, and allies.
Organised in collaboration with TGD and LGBTQIA+ groups from across Victoria, the picnic aims to foster community spirit and connection. Set in a relaxed outdoor setting, the event is open to all ages and features games and opportunities to socialise.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own blankets, foldable chairs, and snacks to contribute to the festive atmosphere.
The organisers hope the event will create a safe and joyful environment for attendees to connect, celebrate diversity, and simply be themselves.
Whether you’re part of the community or an ally, this event promises a day filled with pride and positivity.
