Brisbane Leather Week has just wrapped, and BootCo Brisbane and Queensland Leather Pride are excited to announce the 2026 winners of the four Queensland Leather and Kinkster Titles.
“It was invigorating to see everyone come together for the week and make it such a success,” BootCo President Lee Mollenhauer said.
The week saw over 900 tickets sold. With attendees visiting from Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and internationally, including the current reigning International Leather Boy.
“It’s easy to get swept up in the community drama sometimes, but at the end of the day we can still set that aside and come together to celebrate something more important than our individual selves.”
“Seeing our friends from interstate visit has always been something BootCo has treasured & encouraged with our title holder travel fund, and it’s been a delight to see fresh & returning faces each year.”
Congratulations to this year’s title winners:
- Mr Queensland Leather 2026 – Xander Ferguson
- Queensland Ms Leather 2026 – Saturn Switchblade
- Queensland Kinkster 2026 – Sylvia Zeng
- Queensland Leather Boy 2026 – Jake North

‘I think we’re going to do so many amazing things’
Queensland Leather Boy 2026 Jake North is still in shock about winning the title.
“I’m incredibly honoured to be selected to represent not just a club I love, but a community of people who come from all walks of life, he said.
Adding, “I’m excited to step up a night of art for our trans and gender non-conforming artists to showcase their stories in any form they wish to.”
“It’s going to be a great year!”

That sentiment was echoed by Saturn Switchblade, who is “honoured to be QLD Ms Leather 2026.”
“I have so much love for my sash family, and I think we’re going to do so many amazing things together over the next 12 months,” Saturn said.
“Not only do I think we’re going to make a beautiful, inclusive space for our trans community, but I hope a space people feel safe enough to stand up for themselves.”
Mr Queensland Leather 2026, Xander Ferguson, is “incredibly proud” to be the current Mr Queensland Leather.
“I’m hoping to shed a light on some of the niches within our community & dispel the stigmas surrounding these kinks/fetishes.”
“I’m really looking forward to visiting leather communities in other states (and possibly other countries) and to judge the Sporties bake-off during my title year!”

‘Keen to bring together more like-minded pervs’
Queensland Kinkster 2026 Sylvia Zeng is “Forever grateful to represent my community as the Queensland Kinkster of 2026.”
“As a certified freak, I’m keen to bring together more like-minded pervs into our community, while ensuring safety of each and every one of us.”
Queensland Leather Pride President Sev Faust said, “We’re so immensely proud of all four new QLD title holders for 2026!”
“QLD Leather Pride offers our thanks to BootCo for sharing this space with us to offer a week-long festival that brings together so many corners of our proud, diverse and growing communities.”
“The newest additions to the Brisbane Leather Week program were some of my absolute standouts this year. I loved the free and accessible Cigar Social at the Wickham, and all the genders play party Afterburn at the Den.”
