Brisbane City Council’s Inclusive Brisbane Board (IBB) will hold a free LGBTI community forum in New Farm on July 28.

The forum, hosted by the Board’s chairman Mr Greg Goebel and held at the Brisbane Powerhouse, will allow representatives from LGBTI community organisations to meet the IBB’s members and to share priority issues for the Board to consider, as well as get assistance and advice from the Board for their organisations.

All LGBTI community members in attendance can learn about the Brisbane City Council’s and IBB’s recent activities and also share their ideas for future Council activities.

The IBB was created by the Brisbane City Council to advise on community and social inclusion issues related to the future development of Brisbane. The LGBTI community is represented on the board by QUT senior law lecturer and former Brisbane Pride president Peter Black.

The event is free but limited places are available. To book, visit the forum’s Eventbrite page.
