White Wolf is a gathering of men to chat, meet, drink, dance with areas to chill. STOP PRESS you can also meet the Brisbane Tritons our new gay Water polo Team that will be fundraising on the night.
White Wolf attracts the biggest gathering in Queensland of men only for an event in our community. Men of all ages from around the country areas get together in a private, non-scene venue to drink, chat, laugh in a pub environment. The next White Wolf party is ‘Hard Labour’ on May 1, the Sunday of the Labour Day long weekend. It’s a tribute to tradies: those that feel like wearing tradie gear can get into the theme, otherwise wear anything you like. This is a no attitude party attracting men of all ages who like to mingle over a drink. Most of the crowd are over 25 but there is also a following of young men that like the company of older guys in a more butch environment than gay nightclubs. We’re lucky to have some of Australia’s best DJs including Sydney’s DJ Justin Scott, a resident at Midnight Shift and a mainstay at almost every large gay party in Australia and some in the USA.
We also welcome back ‘for one night only’ our previous White Wolf resident DJ A Craig (now Melbourne) who has now established himself interstate and overseas at Gay Ski Week New Zealand, Melbourne’s Midsumma Festival and many Sydney venues. Brisbane’s own DJ Chris Banks will kick off the night.
White Wolf has a brand new home in West End venue The Loft. The venue, which used to be UBER before it was revamped, is one of Brisbane’s best special event watering holes. The Loft’s club bar area is full of stand up tables, stools, couches and a bar stocked with excellent craft beers and the usual bevvies at very affordable prices. The Dance Room hall has excellent acoustics and a great feel for those that want to shake their butts or watch men wiggle on the dance floor. The huge balcony looks out over the central hub of Brisbane’s bohemian West End.
The venue is close to public transport, with the 199 Bus Flyer Route heading to the city, Spring Hill or the Valley every 15 minutes, and a train station just a 10 minute walk away.
Pre-sale tickets are available for $15 from www.whitewolf.net.au. Tickets are also available at the door for $18.
