BOB: Drag Queens behaving Badly – Balls Out Bingo Birthday

Balls Out Bingo Birthday bob drag queens behaving badly

Drag Queens behaving badly turned out just fine for B.O.B. – Balls Our Bingo. In fact, the Brisbane institution turns 10 this month.

Check out Candy Surprise on the cover of QNews Magazine #516 on the streets Friday 8 October 2021.

They said it wouldn’t last. Six months at the most naysayers proclaimed a decade ago. But B.O.B. is still grabbing audiences by the Bingo Balls ten years later.

The concept is simple. Bingo with BALLS! Cheeky drag queens host rounds of Bingo punctuated with cocky, innuendo-laden jokes and naughty bingo calls. Not to mention the totally wicked ball boys who just can’t be stopped from taking their clothes off.

There’s sexy antics, hilarious repartee and the bonus prizes are completely camp and silly.

But for those who take their Bingo seriously, B.O.B. also gives away great prizes and sometimes even cash. Money talks.

Not your Nanna’s Bingo

However, be warned. Balls Out Bingo is not your Nanna’s Bingo. It often inclines toward the non PC and it’s also cheeky AF.

Jan Thwaites from B.O.B. told QNews, “The night contains coarse language, sexual references, not to mention, a Drag Queen behaving very badly! Candy does sometimes cause a sugar high. A sense of humour is essential! However, no offence is intended!”

B.O.B. Birthday

Over the past decade, tens of thousands of people have ogled B.O.B.’s smooth, shiny balls so now it’s time to celebrate.

On Saturday 9 October, B.O.B hosts a 10th birthday celebration at North Brisbane Eagles Rugby Club in Wavell Heights.

Past hosts Monica Fusions and Miss Synthetique, and current Sporties host Gayleen Tuckwood join Candy Surprise for a night full of entertainment, fun and laughter!

Candy will get the balls rolling with a few games of bingo. There’ll be solo performances from the four amazing queens and Rugger Bugger Striptease with the guys from the Brisbane Hustlers Rugby Club.

There’s also a sensational group performance from the queens and some of the sexy ball boys.

QNews asked long time host Candy Surprise what made Balls Our Bingo such an unqualified success.

“It’s the audiences. People come to the show ready to have fun. They’re cheeky, naughty and almost uncontrollable. It’s lucky B.O.B. has such big balls because our crowds come ready to bust them”

Full bar facilities and 2 Food Trucks to keep the hunger at bay!

Thanks to B.O.B.’s amazing sponsor, Living Communities, Game 5 offers the chance to win $500.

B.O.B. supports local LGBTIQ causes. They’ve made donations so far to community organisations like ATSAQ, Qld Camping Bears, Brisbane Hustlers, Brisbane Tritons and also enjoy great relationships with Boot Co, Brisbears and QPAH. In addition, B.O.B helps raise funds for causes like Project Pink, Farm Animal Rescue and Breast Cancer. In keeping with the times, they recently hosted an online Balls Out Bingo with people in lockdown in Sydney and Melbourne.
