Liam Cooper, the first openly bisexual groom on Married At First Sight, didn’t find love on the reality show but he’s made it official with a fellow MAFS star.

Liam (pictured above, far left) and Married At First Sight New Zealand star Samuel Levi have confirmed their relationship on Instagram.

“When a country boy finds a city boy,” Liam wrote in the caption on a photo of the pair.

“Life works in mysterious ways and this guy came into my life when I least expected it.

“I know I don’t have to explain my life or what I do. But I am very open and honest and wanted to let you all know.”

He went on to explain that he and Samuel met “early this year after the experiment.”

“We hit it off and we remained friends until recently,” he wrote.

“Samuel has shown me what support looks like, what trust looks like and much more.

“I am scared, I am nervous but most of all I am happy.”

Liam Cooper met MAFS boyfriend at Big Gay Day in Brisbane

Liam starred in the latest Australian season of Married At First Sight, earlier this year.

At the time viewers blasted producers for his treatment on the show, after he was outed as bi in awkward scenes at his wedding.

Samuel took part in Married at First Sight New Zealand in 2019.

Liam, who’s from Brisbane, met Samuel at this year’s Big Gay Day street festival in Fortitude Valley in May.

Samuel also took to his own Instagram to confirm the pair’s relationship.

“When a city boy finds his country boy,” he wrote.

“Life certainly works in mysterious ways. It looks like the “experiment” worked out for the both of us.

“Gosh you guys are incredible, thank you for all the love and support. It doesn’t go unnoticed.”

We love to see it.
