Queensland drag demon Inkubus is the first Australian performer to appear on The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, joining the cast of the show’s upcoming season 7.
The creators of the unhinged horror-themed drag competition, Dracmorda and Swanthula Boulet, have unveiled the new Dragula lineup in a Meet Our Monsters cast reveal video ahead of the premiere just before Halloween.
The new cast includes the show’s first Australian monster, Inkubus, who is renowned for serving her hair-raising horror drag looks across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
For the uninitiated, each crop of Dragula performers must embody the drag show’s four elements: drag, filth, horror, and glamour.
Only one will survive the show’s brutal “exterminations” and receive the coveted title of “The World’s Next Drag Supermonster”.

Inkubus will compete on season 7 alongside Annie Agurl, Areal Haunting, DVVSK, Felony Dodger, Koochie-Koochie Ku, Krustyna Clown, Purus, Samuel Bendix, Satanna, Scythe and Vanda LaRose.
“Is this a dream or a nightmare! Surprise uglies, I’m coming to crash The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula Season 7!” the Queenslander wrote on Instagram.
“And I’m here to bring the crown back down under!”
Inkubus is no stranger to the Dragula franchise: the performer hosted viewing parties with fellow horror hostess Asphyxia at queer Brisbane pub Come to Daddy last year.
In 2024, Auckland-based Drag Race Down Under queen Yuri Guaii was one of the drag artists to appear on Dragula’s sixth season, competing for the show’s $100,000 prize.

Boulet Brothers celebrate 10th anniversary of Dragula
Season seven of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula premieres on streaming service Shudder on October 27, ten years after the four-time Emmy-nominated series began on Halloween 2016.
Marking the franchise’s 10th anniversary, the Boulet Brothers reflected on its humble beginnings to a broadcast deal, awards and world domination.
“Ten years ago, we opened the gates to our world without a roadmap, a television network or any idea of how far this strange underground experiment would take us,” the duo said in a statement.
“Today, Dragula has become an internationally recognised and Emmy-nominated franchise, but its heartbeat remains the same: fearless artists, disruptive ideas and a refusal to play it safe.”

The drag horror siblings added, “For season 7, we wanted to celebrate everything that has always made Dragula dangerous and different while pushing the series into its next era.
“We cast raw, hungry artists who were completely unprepared for what was waiting for them, creating a season that feels unpredictable, cinematic and alive in a way that takes us back to the beginning.”
The Boulets announced season 7 guest judges include previous Dragula winners Landon Cider, Dahli, and Asia Consent, as well as big horror genre stars Rose McGowan, Doug Jones, David Dastmalchian, Harvey Guillén and more.
In 2025, previous contestants returned for the second season of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans.
Fan-favourite performers including Sigourney Beaver, Abhora, Priscilla Chambers, Evah Destruction and Disasterina returned to Titans and competed to be crowned “Queen of the Underworld”.
The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula Season 7 will begin on Tuesday, October 27, streaming in Australia on Shudder.
