Drag Race superstar Alaska Thunderfuck is slaying again with her latest venture, Drag: The Musical.

It’s another fantastic project for the actor, singer, author and all-round performer

And she’s enlisted a tonne of incredible talent to help to bring it to life.

Alaska has already released countless albums, appeared in movies and TV and even released her own book. 

The superstar has toured the world and even hosts her own drag pageant.

In true Alaska style, she’s turned her hand to something slightly different yet again.

Bringing together a host of Drag Race royalty Alaska is set to release the recording of Drag: The Musical next month.

The recording is set to accompany a future stage production of the musical.

It “tells the story of two rival drag bars that go head-to-head for survival while struggling through financial troubles.”

Sounds camp as fuck? Because it is.

The Avengers of Drag Unite

The recording of Drag: The Musical features a host of familiar faces and voices that make this cast unmissable.

Joining Alaska are Drag Race royalty Jujubee, Bob the Drag Queen, Ginger Minj, Peppermint, Monét X Change, Divina De Campo, and of course, Michelle Visage.

But it’s not all about Drag Race, the star has enlisted a tonne of other talents for the show.

Fortune Feimster, Jack Rodman, Nick Adams, Margaret Cho, Max Von Essen, Jamie Torcellini, and Lagoona Bloo are all part of the project too.

“At its core, the musical is inspired by the family bond that drag queens have together.”

“And just like family, we may not always get along, but we find a way to support one another and love one another,” she said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly.

“I want to bring people into the world of drag,” she says.

“It’s a world that might not always be glamorous and sparkly.  In fact, at times it can be slimy and disgusting.  But I love it and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.”

The recording is set for a worldwide release on May 13th 2022.
