14-Year-Old Boy SLAYS As Nicki Minaj In Flawless Drag Performance

A teenager from the Philippines has left viewers absolutely stunned after he completely transformed himself into rapper Nicki Minaj for a live performance of her hit “Super Bass” on a TV talent show.

Awra Briguela was a contestant on the first “Kids” season of local TV impersonation show “Your Face Sounds Familiar” and in the grand final of the program he showed off his amazing skills at mimicking Nicki’s distinctive makeup, hair and even facial expressions, during the jaw-dropping live performance on stage.


Needless to say, the teen went on to win first place, reportedly scoring a whopping 95% of the votes and winning $26,000 (AUD) and a trip to South Korea for his troubles.

A video clip of the performance uploaded to the show’s official YouTube channel earlier this week has gone viral, with over 2.1 million views.

Awra Briguela started his career off as an internet sensation has been openly gay since the age of three and is fond of impersonating Filipina actresses like Sarah Geronimo, Sarah Lahbati, and his idol Maja Salvador, who was one of his co-casts in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. He popularized his screen name “Awra” upon achieving mainstream recognition as an actor and comedian.
