Mr Leather 2009 - Who will it be?

The first ever Brisbane Leather Pride Festival is underway, with hundreds of leather clad men turning up for the official launch earlier in the week, and many more enjoying the range of events on offer such as the Leather Dinner and a special screening of Daddy and the Muscle Academy at the Sportsman Hotel.

As QNews is going to print, Leather Pride organisers are busy putting the finishing touches on what will undoubtedly be the jewels in the festival's crown - Tom's Bar & Corium, which will culminate in the announcement of the 2009 Mr Leather Queensland.

Tom's Bar which is held downstairs at the Sportsman Hotel will play host to the first round of the 2009 Mr Leather Queensland, where entrants will be introduced to the public and undergo the public speaking rounds of the competition. The pressure will, be on, but it is what happens the following night at Corium that will count.

Corium will not only decide the winner of the 2009 Mr Leather Queensland competition, but it is also the biggest night of Queensland's leather calendar.

Being held at Imagination Night Club for the very first time, Corium is set to be bigger than even before. With 3 spaces, 2 rooms, 4 DJs, roving performance artists, fire eaters and a boot bitch, there will be no excuses for missing out on the mother of all leather parties! And just in case this is not enough, there is always the official After Corium Party being held at the Mineshaft Bar, downstairs at The Sporties!

Tom's Bar: Fri 3 June from 8pm, Mineshaft bar - Sportsman Hotel. Tickets $8 members/ $10 guests.

Corium: Sat 4 July, 8pm-3am, Imagination Night Club - Spring Hill Hotel. Tickets $20 members/ $25 guests.

Corium After Party: Directly after Corium from 2am. Mineshaft Bar - Sportsman Hotel. Tickets $2 with Corium stamp/ $5 with no Corium Stamp.
