Gold Coast Ready to Rock

GOLD COAST READY TO ROCK

GCGDOn Sunday 2nd May there will be a feast of talent for Gold Coast Gay Day, which has moved to a more convenient, accommodating and intimate venue.   Part of the grounds have been cordoned off to ensure that there will be both undercover and outdoor entertainment in a cosy well facilitated area.  The event is fully licensed and also caters to families and features two main performance areas.
Kate Cook of Australian idol fame is set to rock the party as she has selected a short list of top songs that will ensure the day goes off with a bang.  Kate has also offered to meet people and sign albums after her performance.  Last year the DJs kept the party going between main acts and again they will set the pace for the day with their groovy tunes including Laszlo K, RJ Sims and Jake.  Big Book Fantasy, with their glossy pop/rock, are renown for their fun antics and great music and they are looking forward to entertaining what is set to be a high energy motivated crowd that last year topped 2,000 people.
Gold Coast Gay Day has been inundated with offers by local performers who are keen to be a part of what is now Queensland’s third biggest LGBT event. Many businesses have also expressed their support and are keen to display their wears on the day of what is a fantastic community festival.

Of course, the glue that holds the day together and ensures our acts are on time bright and bubbly is the hostess with the mostess Trixie O Nassis and of course the most fabulous Nana Rama Licious with guest showgirls as well.
There are always a great variety of stall holders on the day including many local service providers and there is some space for a few more if you are quick to book your space.
