Lively (Abiding Truth Ministries) accused of helping draft the original version of Uganda's anti-hom A Ugandan gay rights group has launched a civil lawsuit against a US minister this week.
‘Sexual Minorities Uganda’ claims that Massachusetts preacher, Scott Lively, has been involved in a campaign to persecute the Ugandan LGBT community. The group claim to link Mr Lively’s 2009 visit to Uganda with the country’s introduction of the death penalty or life imprisonment for homosexual activity.
Whilst the evangelist denies all accusations, rules now allow foreigners to pursue legal action in the US when there is a claim that Americans have violated international law.
