THESE 90’s COMEBACKS JUST WON’T DIE

East 17 have now joined the bandwagon of revived 90’s bands to announce a tour. IT JUST WON’T STOP! Who knows what might happen next fortnight edition – this editor may finally get to publish that Steps and B*Witched are coming back for a tour (fingers crossed). I think it will be a new QNews fortnightly column – ‘which band is coming back to town this week.’

For those of you born in the early 90’s and have no idea what we’re talking about, East 17 were a ‘try to be punk’ tough boy band that hit the music scenes back around 1992/1993/1994 with ‘House Of Love,’ only to proceed with several other hits like Pet Shop Boy’s cover ‘West End Girls’ ‘Stay Another Day’ and #1 hit ‘It’s Alright’ only to (like all boy bands) die their natural, painful death and make way for the new boy bands which at the time were 5ive, Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync. All boys will be returning regardless of the messy break up history with a new single ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Mind (Crazy)’ – let’s see if they still got it since this single isn’t out for all to listen to yet. East 17 will be playing in Brisbane at the Hifi 14th June. Tickets are already on sale. Unbelievable.
